If you’ve been scrolling through social media as we have, you have probably noticed the rise in women-supporting-women content. We love it! The abundance of creativity, the unparalleled passion, the radical honesty, the “here I am,” “can’t hold me down” mentality - everything about it is worth celebrating.

Now, women have always known how incredibly versatile, powerful, and capable they are. Now, it’s time to shower them gifts! Keep reading for some gift suggestions to treat the outstanding ladies in your life (no matter who they are or where they are).

Glass Ladder & Co.’s tagline is “Build Your Empire in Style.” And that is just what their female founders set out to do: help women transform the “glass ceiling” into a “glass ladder” and climb their way to the vegan leather, cruelty-free bag, clutch, and padfolio at a time.

The popular “Megan Clutch” is perfect for any boss babe facing a busy day. It has enough pockets (x8) and cardholder slots (x3) to fit anything and everything: an iPad or tablet, plus a charger, cell phone, credit cards, an ID, a few pens, a notebook or journal, and a set of keys. Snap closed with the adjustable double metal button closure, and she’s off to slay the day. For $120, it comes in four colors, including blush pink with rose gold hardware (pictured below), cloud grey with silver hardware, and classic black and olive, both with gold hardware. For a clutch large enough to hold a 13” or larger laptop, the Megan XL is only $10 more.

Check out Glass Ladder and Co.’s website for their other girls boss goodies like The Michelle (a large and totally in charge tote bag), The Amelia (a passport holder, but so much more!), and The Hepburn (a large clutch with the addition of a permanent chain crossbody strap).

Instagram has become a platform for artists of all kinds to showcase and share their talents with the world - and make a profit (if they choose to do so). @DanicaGim is one of those artists. After noticing how similar her poetry account looked to other online poets, Danique (her real name) decided to illustrate her words. She now has over 200K followers!

Inspired by her European roots and a love for dreamy mythology, the pieces are passionate, relatable, and fiercely feminine. The majority of her designs feature a woman’s body accompanied by a moon or flower and an inspirational one-liner. Each quote is better than the last, but here are a few of our feminine-forward favorites (just for fun):

  • “She knows she is worthy of all good things coming.”

  • “There is no strength like the strength of a woman.”

  • “She is steady in her growth.”

  • “You are the queen of your own mind.”

Every print is hand-drawn on high-quality paper and comes in various sizes from XS (3.9” x 5.9”) to XL (16” x 24”) for between €15 and €59. (Prices are in Euros but will convert to $ and yes, she ships worldwide). Danique also creates art for greeting cards, stickers, tote bags, and blankets. Every piece is gorgeous - so gorgeous we wish we could get them all tattooed! Wait - what’s that you say? We CAN get them tattooed?

For €40, you can purchase a “tattoo token,” which means she’ll email you a document that grants permission to get one of her designs as a tattoo. Great artists shall be compensated for their work - enough said.

The story of GLDN, a jewelry company, is a personal favorite. Single mom handmaking jewelry in her kitchen (she eventually moved to the dining room), now with 85 employees in 3 workspaces, continuing to make refined and gorgeous jewelry for all women.

Fair warning, you’re going to want every piece from their newest collaboration: The Body X GLDN. The collection is illustrated and designed by Deun Ivory, Founder of the non-profit organization The Body: A Home For Love. Their mission: to shift the culture around how Black women heal from sexual trauma.

Choose from five simply gorgeous pieces. A rectangle pendant featuring a woman’s figure dangles at the end of the “Home For Love” necklace (starting at $59). The “My Body, My Home” necklace (starting at $47) has a circular pendant - see featured image below. Splashed across a dainty, golden bar reads “I am Worthy” (bracelet starting at $54 and ring starting at 50) and “Joy is My Birthright” (necklace starting at $49).

Prices range depending on the material (14k gold-filled, sterling silver, or 14k solid gold) and type (minimal or iconic) and length of chain. No matter which stunning piece you choose for that ultimate woman in your life, 50% of the proceeds from each sale go back to the non-profit.

What is one of the main differences between men and women these days? Throw pillows, obviously!

Kidding (but are we?). Step into any home where a woman resides, and more often than not, you’ll see couches, loveseats, rocking chairs, and beds decorated with just the precise type and quality of throw pillows. Check out the marvelous collection available from Urban Outfitters Home. Starting at $39, the various shapes, sizes, colors, and patterns will set any female’s homebody heart on fire.

Linen throws with tassels. Embroidered, woven, and velvet pieces. Pillows covered in faux fur, fleece, and fringe. How about a furry sloth or llama, a plush hedgehog, or friendly yeti? Head straight to their website for over 100 throw pillow options!

A throw pillow may be an unusual gift. Understandable. Trust the process—and tag in. A throw pillow or three is a great gift these days, especially since we’re all spending a ton more time at home! Think about how happy she’ll feel when she sees (and leisurely leans back on) the pillow you thoughtfully picked out, just for her!
